Methodology
Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through the estate's fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).
3 of the 20 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 17 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 7 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.
The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in day (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 58 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.
Derivation as chartered: One row per (UK nation x tenure x duty): the statute that creates it, the date it commenced, the maximum interval it sets, who may sign, what must be given to the tenant and within how many days, and the maximum financial penalty - England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland side by side, which no authority publishes because each publishes only its own nation.
The table carries its own change history: England's cap rose from GBP 30,000 to GBP 40,000 per breach on 1 November 2025 and the duty extended to the social rented sector by SI 2025/1043; Northern Ireland's duty commenced for new tenancies on 1 April 2025 and existing ones on 1 December 2025; Wales runs on a 14-day supply deadline where England runs on 28.
Beside it, the C1/C2/C3/FI outcome codes with what each obliges and by when.
58 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
