What we collect and why

When you ask for quotes we collect what you enter: the roof work you need, the area, a short description of the problem, your name and your contact details. We use them for one purpose, which is passing your enquiry to roofing contractors covering that area, as stated next to the form. Contractor signups are handled separately and are not mixed with owner enquiries.

Legal basis and sharing

If you send an enquiry, Asbestos Survey Cost passes your contact details to at most three surveyors and contractors who do the work I asked about, chosen by us. Before your contact details go to anyone, a short description of the job, without your name or contact details, may be shown to other firms in that field so they can say whether they can take it on. As your details go to each firm we email you its name, with a link that stops any more firms receiving them. When you stop, we list the firms that already have them, so you can ask them to delete them. We use service providers to host and store this site and its data, to route email, and to help us read and answer enquiries, including AI tools. We never sell data, run third-party advertising, or load third-party scripts on this site.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from when they are sent, then deleted, and any copy held to pass an enquiry to a firm has the name, email, phone and message removed at the same point. Aggregate statistics that identify nobody are kept indefinitely.

This site uses cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no consent banner needed.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion at any time: contact@asbestossurveycost.co.uk. We respond within one month. You can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt), or to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.
