Inside an occupied building it removes visibility almost instantly, it is an inhalation hazard, and the residue is corrosive to electronics. It belongs outdoors, in plant rooms and on vehicles, and a building fitted out entirely with powder units usually reflects a purchase decision rather than a risk assessment.

Getting the right mix
